Do you have money and are wondering where and how to invest? Well there are different sectors in which you can invest; one such sector is real estate. Despite the slowdown in the last few years, Indian real estate is expected to make a turnaround in 2016. Experts believe that the sector will record an increase in sales and a reduction in unsold inventories. They believe the government Initiatives announced this year, will give a push to this sector and help in building up the investor’s confidence.
The government’s easing of FDI policy, the probable implementation of real estate bill and smart cities, and introduction of REITs (Real Estate Investment Trusts) will bring transparency into the sector and infuse investor confidence in the coming years. The RBI has cut rates by 125 basis points in 2015 and both the developers and buyers hope to see the transmission of these lower rates to the consumers in 2016.
