In the current NCR real estate scenario, Greater Noida (West) has emerged as a booming real estate market that is equipped with a sound infrastructure and many well-developed as well as proposed residential and commercial projects. Moreover, recent initiatives by the Government have made this area favourable amongst many prospective home buyers.
Good news for the residents of Greater Noida (west), Noida-Greater Noida authority has finally decided to start the planning of extension of this route once again. There will be two links; one will connect sector-71 to Knowledge park-5 and another will be from the sector- 142 to Okhla bird sanctuary metro station. Authority will now send this proposal to Noida metro rail corporation (NMRC).
With a total of 9 stations, the whole stretch of Sector-71 to Knowledge park-5 will be of 14.15 km and will be completely elevated. Estimated at a cost of Rs 3884 crore, the Metro corridor is expected to ferry 1.23 lakh passengers daily. On the other hand, the second line will be developed at an estimated cost of 2127 crore.
