When it comes to an awe-inspiring architecture, the first vision that comes to our mind is that of the magnificent Burj Khalifa. Dubai has always been on top in terms of building and architecture. And now the city is also going to excel in the field of technologically advanced architectures as well. Dubai is planning to come up with the first 3D printed building of the world.
The building is being built as a partnership between WinSun Global and Dubai government with help of major engineering firm Gensler and Thornton Thomasetti. It is the first step taken in the direction of the ‘Museum of the Future’ initiative. The UAE National Innovation Committee expects that the building will put Dubai on the world map as a country most advanced in the field of technology use in architectural engineering. A 20 foot tall 3D printer will be used to emboss breathtakingly beautiful 3D prints on this office building. The entire building will be precast and then assembled on the site afterwards.
