Now a lot of builders have come up with special projects just catered for the seniors where all facilities are available so the seniors are self-dependent and can lead a dignified lifestyle without being a burden on others. The developers are building these projects by totally keeping their focus on the seniors. They are being sensitive and taking care of the needs of the senior citizens while designing them.

These retirement homes are maintained with a focus on special requirements by senior citizens- grab rails, anti-skid tiles, wheel-chair friendly premises, social and spiritual events, restaurants, convenience stores, libraries and a club house with a place to play cards or follow their hobbies. More importantly, their medical emergencies need to be taken care of and there are special facilities and doctors on call to handle them.
