Speaking after the meeting, Debasish Panda, CEO, Greater Noida authority, said, “We are likely to hire a transport planner for conducting a study and suggest ways to decongest congestion-ridden intersections, including Kisan Chowk. We hope to select a transport planner next month.”

Also, Crossings Republik, a hub of apartment complexes, which is located nearby, adding to jams at Kisan Chowk.
In order to provide relief to the residents, the Greater Noida authority had widened the slip roads in 2014, but during peak hours, the story is still the same. According to daily commuters, sometimes it takes more than half an hour to cross this intersection.
So, the residents had decided to send their concern to UP CM Yogi Adityanath in which they have demanded an underpass. An action has been taken after the letter was received at CM office. According to an official of Greater Noida authority, “The CM’s office sought a reply from the Greater Noida authority following the residents’ demand.
