Recently, Investors Clinic initiated its Flat 983 contest in association with Radio Mirchi. Unlike the last two years, this time the contest was aimed at recognizing the heroes of the society- those who work selflessly for social causes. Investors Clinic’s social initiatives are in a way wedded to its core business which makes ‘Flat 983’ more than just a contest.
IC has always been out there to help the underprivileged in one way or the other. Flat 983 is also an initiative to honor those who do so without any returns. Giving them the ‘Key to Happiness’ is a way to encourage them and acknowledge their selfless attempts that are truly making transformational impact on the society.
The audience were asked to nominate the names of such unsung heroes of Delhi and give them a chance to get a key to their dream home. The responses poured in and the jury selected five finalists based on their social initiatives- Sylvester Peter, Geetanjali Babbar, Dorris Francis, Rajesh Kumar and Medicine Baba. Geetanjali Babbar received an overwhelming response from the listeners and the jury and bagged the key to her fully furnished dream home. She is known for her hobby classes ‘Kat Katha’ specially meant for the children of sex workers from the infamous streets of G.B. Road.
Honey Katiyal, CEO- Investors Clinic, walked up the platform with all five finalists and expressed his gratitude for what they are doing for the society. He called them all real winners and told how proud he was to meet them in person.
