To get a flat in the DDA lottery has become the dream of every middle income homebuyer but many a times the winners of these flats are not satisfied with the homes they get. While the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) promises a larger number of flats of better quality every time, they sometimes fail in implementing the same.
An important step in the direction of resolving this issue, DDA has come up with a prototype for its new mobile application. The application would allow customers to send their feedback regarding the state of maintenance services in the already established apartments, the construction quality in case of buildings that are in development stage and various other issues related to the DDA Flats.
As reported by the Economic Times, this prototype app has a feedback form that mainly focuses on four important parameters. These include the external facade/wall of the building, the flooring inside rooms, finishing of the walls and the flooring of toilets. The DDA has made this application open to public review. It is asking for the feedback of these four parameters and if these are not sufficient, what other parameters should be added into the feedback form. Any changes in the nomenclature of these parameters are also welcome.
The DDA is currently working on these four mobile applications. It is a major step in the direction of providing better customer services. This will also bring greater transparency in the processes and the customers can get easy and faster redressal of their grievances. It will also monitor the development of roads that lead to these flats to provide a complete feedback of overall development.
