Why to Invest

Ghaziabad, known as the 'Gateway of Uttar Pradesh', is gradually growing into the newest residential hub of NCR. Before 1976, it was a part of Meerut district but later came to be an independent city. Ghaziabad became a municipal corporation much later in 1994. With a varied gamut of affordable properties, the city is gaining traction from the investors as well as end-users. The excellent location and a well-developed infrastructure are the two main reasons why Ghaziabad is on the list of every real estate connoisseur.

It started out as an industrial city. Surrounded by the GautamBudh Nagar, Meerut, Bulandshahr and the country's capital Delhi, the city was touted as a perfect place for carrying out industrial activity. Industrial activity had started in the city before independence but it was only after 1947 that it started to flourish. The influx of people from different parts of the country, led to a growth in its industrial functions. Later in 1970, modern industries like steel manufacturing and electronics started coming up.

Ghaziabad boasts of a full-fledged infrastructure. NH-24, which is being widened from four to sixteen lanes, is the major catalyst for its growth. Its connectivity to Delhi via the extensive network of Delhi Metro has been a game changer for its economy. As of now, the economy of Ghaziabad is largely supported by real estate. After the proposal of widening of NH-24 and connecting it to Dasna, real estate activity in the area shot up. Noida and Greater Noida are already developing on the lines of good connectivity and the developers have realized the immense potential of the city, thus introducing a number of projects here.

SARE Homes, Mahagun, Antriksh, Aditya, Ansal and Wave are the initials of a few real estate development companies who have launched a number of projects in Ghaziabad. Townships are coming up along NH-24 and more affordable options are likely to be launched. Further extension of Delhi Metro is also on the papers.

Offering less congested, better living options, Ghaziabad is set out to become the next real estate hub of NCR.
