Dharuhera, the fastest developing city in Haryana, has also got immense importance as a realty destination in the National Capital Region (NCR). Ideally located near the commercial hub of Gurgaon, the city holds immense potential of value appreciation in real estate; its proximity to the Indira Gandhi International Airport also increased its popularity among industrialists and investors. A larger part of the agricultural as well as barren land is acquired by renowned real estate developers who started converting it into sought-after projects.
Though a little short-sighted by the Haryana Government back in the days, Dharuhera now boasts of a rapidly developing infrastructure. Good quality schools, colleges, hospitals and convenience stores are coming up in the city. Private developers are also venturing in to come up with multiplexes and commercial centers in the city in order to improve the standard of living and the overall livability index. Though the city’s economy was fuelled by agriculture a decade ago, now industries are the main support for the economic framework of Dharuhera. As agricultural lands started to be utilized for industrial purposes, its economy flourished.
Dharuhera is well connected to Delhi and Gurgaon via full-fledged roads. NH-8 is one such road that connects it. The Rewari-Sohna Road and Delhi-Ajmer Expressway are also important roads to access Dharuhera. Some of the most famous companies have their manufacturing units in the city. Hero MotoCorp, Carlsberg, Amul etc are a few names.
Since real estate in Dharuhera is much affordable as compared to Gurgaon and the appreciation prospects are also very high, long-term investors find it better than the main areas of Gurgaon where the prices are high and market has reached saturation. Bestech, Raheja, Lotus Greens, Tulip Infrastructure and Parsvnath are a few builders who have come up with their projects in Dharuhera.
